5Rhythms Workshop @ The Yoga Tree
Come and dance the 5Rhythms Waves map to celebrate New Year 2025/26.
Grounded in the moving presence of our dance we'll let go of 2025 and call in 2026.
We will embody the transformational qualities of the 5Rhythms - Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness - to give our New Year intentions focus and momentum.
In this 1 day Waves Workshop we will resource our dance with guided exercises using the written word and vocal sharing. Bring writing materials, preferably a journal, if you have one. This is a good time to begin keeping a journal.
All welcome. Targeting an inclusive space. We welcome all genders, gender expressions, sexualities, races, ethnicities, sizes, religions and abilities.
Mary Hedger is an accredited 5Rhythms Teacher, all hours danced with her count as study towards the teaching path. This workshop counts as 1 day at Waves level.

We will break for lunch, bring a packed lunch to eat at the venue if you would like. As this is a city centre venue there are options nearby for food.

You can cancel for any reason for a full refund up to one week before the workshop, 21st December. After this date refund will be full payment less £15 charged for admin.
We dance barefoot. Wear clothes you love to move and dance in. Bring a refillable water bottle.
